Sexy Sassy Seniors Go On Tour: Ten dancers from the Jazz Dancing Performing
Group participated in the 4th Annual VALA Variety Show in Fort Frances on Feb. 1st and 2nd, 2008. Ten dancers instructed by Lynda DePiero performed four dynamic dance numbers at three sold-out performances. This year’s theme was “A Wacky River Cruise” which included 104 total cast members from Fort Frances and region, Winnipeg, International Falls (USA) and Thunder Bay. VALA (The Valley Adult Learning Association) presents this annual variety show to raise money for literacy. Great fun for both audiences and performers including musicians, singers, dancers, actors and castaways from Gilligan’s Island! The Sexy Sassy Seniors pictured above include, (back row) Roslyn Danielson, Mary McVicar, Jane Luedtke, Lynda DePiero (instructor), Raija Vainio. (front row) Margaret Johnston, June Adduono, Sharon Kukko, Ulla Ahokas and Helen Petersen. Congratulations to all involved for an excellent show!
